SIGNAL PROCESSING CONTRACTOR | MOLECULAR SENSING, INC. (INT:UNR)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Molecular Sensing, Inc. is accepting applications for a short term internship for the purpose of monitoring a set of interference fringes and looking for very small shifts in some part of the fringe pattern during the progress of the experiment utilizing an extremely sensitive laser-based refractive index-detector to monitor the progress. Cross-correlation analysis, FFT analysis and ST-FFT analysis methodologies used previously have resulted in frequent but unreliable success in “signal of interest” detection.  The majority of signal is from change in refractive index of experimental solution; “signal of interest” is very small and not expected to be from a refractive index change but some other phenomena.
