Tesla is currently looking for applicants for its spring/summer coop and summer internships to be located at their Gigafactory operations.  They have identified an interest in primarily mechanical engineering students, but also electrical engineering, and chemical/materials engineering.  If you are interested in applying you must:

  • Complete the Tesla Coop Interest Sheet and send it with your most up to date résumé to Elicia Rollins at erollins@unr.edu. The college will be bundling these résumés and forwarding them to Tesla.
  • Interest sheets and résumés must be submitted no later than Monday, November 9.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Must be enrolled in a degree program the fall semester following the spring/summer coop or summer internship

Please note the spring/summer coop requires fulltime employment during the spring semester and at least part of the summer.  Three (3) coop credits will likely be available that can be used toward your degree program.  Participation in the Tesla Coop may delay your graduation.  You will need to consult your academic advisor to determine the impact on your planned graduation date.  SUMMER ONLY internship positions are typically more competitive.
