POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Baker Hughes, a General Electric (GE) company, is the world’s first and only full stream provider of integrated oilfield products, services, and digital solutions. In the Manufacturing Engineer role, the successful candidate will be a manufacturing process owner responsible for sustaining multiple processes and resolving day-to-day issues with immediate action. The Manufacturing Engineer will also be responsible for managing and executing multiple process improvement projects simultaneously. The Manufacturing Engineer will be focused on printed circuit board manufacturing as well as developing GE’s Industry 4.0 “Brilliant Factory” initiative. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and documenting technical process expertise
  • Utilizing Six Sigma tools and driving Lean activities to improve process control and process cycle time
  • Designing, building, and documenting mechatronic processes and fixtures, including tooling
  • Defining and executing capital expenditures
  • Working in a professional manner with cross functional-teams including manufacturing, technology, product lines, EHS, quality, and external vendors

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field from an accredited institution
