NAVAL RESEARCH ENTERPRISE INTERNSHIP | U.S. NAVY (INT:UNR)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Navel Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) provides an opportunity for students to participate in research at a Department of Navy (DoN) laboratory during the summer. The goals of NREIP are to encourage participating students to pursue science and engineering careers, to further education via mentoring by laboratory personnel and their participation in research, and to make them aware of DoN research and technology efforts, which can lead to employment within the DoN. Participating students spend ten weeks during the summer conducting research at approximately thirty-eight laboratories.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a student (enrolled at a four-year United States college or university deemed accredited by the United States Department of Education or a two-year college) who has completed at least 31 college credits or meet the major and credit requirements
  • Graduate students interested in the program must be attending a United States accredited institution (ABET)
  • Must be a United States citizen
