PUBLIC SERVICE INTERN | WASHOE COUNTY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (INT:UNR)
The Washoe County Technology Services Department is currently accepting resumes for the Public Service Intern position. The Public Service Intern will be assigned to the cyber security team. The Public Service Interns will typically work 20 to 24 hours per week and are limited to 1,039 hours per year. Under supervision, the Intern completes research and assignments to assist with the operations of a County Department, receives training and develops knowledge of an assigned area of County government, and performs related work as required.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or enrollment in a recognized Master’s degree program
- Course work, prior or current, must include a minimum of three units pertinent to the operations of the hiring department
- Focus on a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields
- Education in networking and cyber security courses
