MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN | OLIN CHLOR ALKALI
This role will provide support to the Olin Henderson plant for mechanical reliability sustainment, which may include but is not limited to: searching for parts, specifying mechanical components; coordinating equipment repair specification; designing parts including layout, fabrication, light assembly, test and evaluation. He or she will support test activities and prepare engineering documentation and provide engineering support to technical staff and managers.
The intern is expected to work safely and to learn to complete their assignments independently. Applicants must also be able to relate and communicate professionally with co-workers at various levels, and show ability to change priorities and handle multiple tasks. Teamwork and cooperation, as well as independent initiative are critical as well as proficient experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
